I don't wear heels at all, but I think some women look completely fierce and fabulous with shorts and heels. Especially tall women with awesome legs...though as a tall woman myself (5'11") I can't understand how anyone tall can wear heels--I always feel like a giraffe on heels, even though I think others in heels look great!
For example--Blake Lively can do no wrong, ever...

Just wedges! I think nice shorts, nice top, and wedges
are a good way to dress up but be casual in the summer. Esp with a LO when a dress isn't always good. -
I haven't really been wearing heels since having the LOs since I'm way more prone to back aches but I think it's a great look!

With wedges! I don't do it often, but that's mostly because most of my shorts are super casual. I LOVE the way it looks on people who do it, though.

I've seen others pull it off, but I can't. We don't were shorts often out here and I wear heels once in a blue moon.

@Smurfette: When I first read your comment I thought you meant you especially liked to put R in heels + shorts and a fun top. I was super confused! Then I realized that you meant good to wear when you are wrangling a LO. Ha!

her.I think it's cute! I have a strappy black heel I would wear, otherwise wedges, as others have mentioned.
But with certain heels and certain types of shorts, it can look... inappropriate IMO.

Yes! I think with nicer shorts and a blouse it looks nice. I'll wear wedges or t strap heels with shorts.

I very rarely wear shorts but I usually wear wedges when I do. My short legs need all the help they can get.
