I don't, because I feel like it's too early to start drills and that sort of teaching. She learns through experience at this age (3), so I'm not really feeling like sitting down and teaching her letters yet. I'll probably start next year to prep for kinder.

I do but it's not a set activity or time. I follow her lead. She's very interested in reading so we do some reading activities...for instance tonight we are doing a puzzle that connects a word with it's picture. Her teacher sent home a worksheet that LO had a problem with, understanding the concept of fewer so while we did her hair I used her hair bands to show her. I try to do things organically and make it fun.

We do. We practice things she's already learned or working on. Counting by 2s, 5s, 10s. Spelling colors. She counts for time out too. When can I get up? Count to 42 or 65, etc. Also when we are in the car we talk about recent learning and usually adapt to our passing scene.

Both of my LOs go to daycare that does some preschool style activities. The only thing I want to work on with my son before he starts elementary school this fall is lower case letters. He knows all the uppercase ones just fine.

Not really. Only if stuff comes up organically---counting the grapes on her plate at snack, Counting the steps as we walk them when we go outside, reading stories together, etc.

Yes, we work on learning all the time at home – but we do it the same way they learn at preschool, which is organically and naturally like what @honeybear and others have described. Almost everything is a “teachable” opportunity in my eyes; I’m always asking her questions to engage her thinking about the world and making connections. We don’t ever sit down and do blah rote exercises, drills or the like (and they don’t ever do that in preschool either).

If LO went less than the full 5 days a week, I would definitely feel more pressure to “work on things” at home, but still to really just make it fun and easy learning. I want to foster learning as something that happens naturally every day and is just part of life, and I feel like the best way to do that is to model it at home.

no, actually never occurred to me. when he's in grade school and starts to have homework, i'll work with him, but for these years i'll just let the preschool do it's thing and just do regular play stuff at home without an agenda.
