One of my coworkers had a baby on Friday and he is working! His in laws (mil, fil, and 3 SILs) are staying at his place right now and he wanted to get away...haha. He plans on taking a month off after they leave next week!

I work with a lot if people in England and the men there usually do for a few weeks at least. Here they usually take a week or two. But I do work with mostly women who take their regular mat leave.

Dh gets 4 weeks paid paternity leave that can be used within the first 12 weeks after birth. He's planning on spacing them out, but I'm really looking forward to having the help.

my husband's job had paid paternity leave. He took it when I went back to work and stayed with LO for 3 months.

With DD, DH took 2 weeks of vacation. With #2, he's taking 6 weeks of paternity. Woo hoo!

Most guys here take a few weeks. My boss took 2 months after the birth of his daughter and another guy recently took 6 weeks when his wife went back to work.

No one has ever had a baby before, (while working here of course). I'm pregnant, DH's assistant's "girlfriend" is pregnant, and one of our warehouse guys just told us his wife is pregnant (5 weeks!). We don't have any PTO, so there is absolutley no paternity time.
DH will take a few days, his assistant will take a few days & the other guy will take a few days. None of them will take more than a week (because it's unpaid.) So if my LO comes on a Wednesday, DH will take Wed, Thurs & Friday off and go back Monday. It SUCKS, but we can't afford both of us to be off unpaid.
