Our moms do! I think (hope) our dads will be more interested when our LOs are older.

Yup. LO doesn't always let them though. The baby has ridiculous stranger anxiety at times.

My MIL plays the most with DD. Followed by mom and dad then FIL. My sister plays with her most of all though. She LOVES DD. I need to take advantage of babysitting services! Lol

My parents play with him a ton, and FIL is pretty good about it too. MIL has the tendency to just put him in the high chair and turn on cartoons It's fairly ironic since she was the SAHM who is now a stay at home grandma (she watches my nephew when SIL is at her part-time job) and is the self-proclaimed baby expert.

My parents do. Mil does too. The thing that makes me sad was FIL was never like the way he was with our lo with hubs. It was jaw dropping to see him dance and sing and play with him from newborn times. But he passed a couple of months ago and those are the memories we will be able to share with G

My inlaws drop everything to play with DD every second they are around her. My parents do not. They're happy to see her and will play for a bit but then would prefer to go on their own way and do what they want. It's a little annoying when we go out of our way to spend time with them. They wonder why we don't leave DD with them more often, but I just don't think she gets the same amount of attention and interaction that she does at my inlaws. I haven't said anythign though....

Yup, they love playing with them. My dad comes over once a week (sometimes twice) to give my husband a break since he stays home with them. My dad loves coming over, he plays and even gets on the floor with them. He's in his mid 60's so getting back up isn't always the easiest I'm sure. Heh.

dd is only 4 weeks old, so "playing" at this point is really just holding her! my parents are super hands-on, as is mil, but fil--not so much. he's not in good health though and very frail, so I wonder if that's why, like if he's afraid he might drop her, but he's also fairly formal and more traditional though than my dad

Somewhat yes, but they mostly prefer to read them books. But my boys are exhausting so I don't blame them!

My mom and FIL do, my dad not so much, but I think it's partly because he's fairly old and afraid he might drop her or something. He plays with my nephews more, but they are older. My MIL is suuuuppppper reserved and is always happy to hold her if I ask, but never comes over and picks her up or anything.

my mum does, as well as fil. Mil prefers to have lo sit on her lap and cuddle - which lo hates these days so mil gets annoyed
