I was surprised by a recent thread that there seemed to be so many Whovians on HB! Surprised and thrilled, mind you. Just about for every holiday and birthday, I receive at least one Doctor Who themed gift or outright DVD collection. To be perfectly, geekily honest, I think I have more Doctor Who themed shirts than I do normal shirts!
So are you a Doctor Who fan? And if so, are you excited for the 50th anniversary special?

I have yet to start watching it and I really want to. My DH doesn't want me to watch it without him and we don't have much time to watch shows together. My sister loves this show so much. She made me take a quiz to find out which companion I am most like and I got Rory. I have no idea what it means though!

I had to vote no. Not because I dislike it, but because I have seen only 2 episodes from the 60's and the SNOWMEN special. Which is not enough to be a true fan. I dig it though. I want to watch more if it.

Super excited!!! I'm so behind on this season though :[ I haven't seen any of pt 2!! I'm going to have DH buy the 2nd part for my bday so I can catch up I can't wait to see how they shove Rose and Ten in there!!

I need to look this up... I feel so out of loop on things because we haven't had TV at the house in YEARS! We Netflix, but aren't home enough to justify the cost of TV.

@Alivoo01: We don't have cable either. Most of the seasons of DW are on Netflix, and the newest can be found (for $) on Amazon Prime

I'm behind! The season that came out around this past September never got totally watched because LO was born and I got busy and then I got behind on the episodes...need to catch up! I've seen a few but not all.

My sisters and I are so excited for the 50th. I'm looking forward to seeing David tennant interact with Matt smith. Matt is doing a great job but I love tennant!

I haven't watched the Classic series yet, but I started watching the reboot on Netflix during around the clock nursing sessions when DS was a newborn, and became obsessed. My mom is too (I send her DW gifts for every occasion), and one of my brothers/his wife/their kids.
I'm excited for the 50th but more excited for the finale on Saturday, probably because it's so.much.closer that I can taste it!
We don't have cable, but I splurge and buy the new episodes on Amazon (they are released the day after the episode airs, so I can watch in on Sunday).
