My sister and I have a pretty weak relationship and I'm actually hesitant to even think about having a 2nd baby just because of that.
However, I remember a post from Mrs. Bee stating that an age gap of under 18 months or over 3 years is ideal to minimize sibling rivalry, so that does give me some hope

My siblings and I are all 2 1/2-3 years apart, and we have a great relationship. But my mom and her sister and my mil and her brother have pretty awful relationships so I still do worry. Won't stop me from having more kids though!

I'm not concerned too much about sibling rivalry.. I'm more concerned about playing favorites. DH has already started thinking about the car he wants to buy LO when she turns 16. He says baby #2 is going to just get hand me downs, but I don't want our other kids to feel like LO#1 gets all the love from us. I'm sure things will be different when we have more, but it worries me sometimes!
