I tried it once with a travel product called YTB. I wasn't interested in doing the heavy lifting of convincing people to use my website vs the major sites they already knew & used. 6-7 years later I still get solicitations regarding the business- lead generation services. My website was called Off The Beaten Path.

Several people I know sell Avon or Mary Kay and have been successful. Unfortunately, I don't support their business because a) I don't wear make up often and b) when I do I like to try out products at Ulta or dept store with a real make up artist.

An alterations lady I used a few times had a very successful Montavie business. I have bought a few things from a friend who is selling Origami Owl. She's pressing for additional sales, but I'm not 100% impressed with the quality.

A cousin in law sells Bedroom Kandi and if I were physically closer to her and could attend a party she would definitely have me as a customer. Although my husband would probably not like that too much. I'm not sure how successful she is, but sex toys are expensive so her split is probably really good.

It's tough sometimes with network marketing I want my friends and family to be successful, but I also want to spend dollars wisely on products I need/ want/ like. The worse is when a friend insists on giving me a (usually make up) sample and I still don't buy something. Ugh! I'm not the target market.

I hate when people are selling to me on Facebook! Have any of you noticed people taking pictures of their CHECKS and posting it!?! Obviously not the routing number or anything, but the amount. It is clear that they are trying to get people to sign up to sell for them, but it is (IMO) so tacky.

I'm curious if people make good money and how much selling you really have to do. I don't think I could ever do it.

I teach classes for DoTerra and it has been fairly profitable so far! Plus, I love it!

I sell Ava Anderson Non-Toxic products. I have yet to do an actual party but have made quite a bit in personal orders! It's pretty laid back for me - if I sell, great, if not, great I love my discount..lol!
