Nope! I refuse to go out and deal with the crowds on Black Friday! It's just not worth the hassle to me!

If I see something on-sale on Amazon.com though, I will buy it.

I went out early (like, 7 or 8 am) for a couple of Black Fridays, so we would be out of the store before noon, but it's not worth it anymore. I like to sleep in, and you can always find sales online at some point anyway. I can't think of anything that I would get that much better of a deal on, that I would actually want.

No way. I hate crowds and usually in order to get the best deals you have to line up really early. I'd rather sleep.

Nope! I usually have to work the night before or the day of... but even if I didn't, I hate crowds. I'd probably get frustrated and leave anyways!! But I do enjoy some online shopping!

I don't! I'd rather pay more and not feel claustrophobic. Plus I worked retail for a long time and I love not having to get out in the chaos anymore!

Nope. One time I went to Target before work (like 7am, so not crazy early) and bought myself a Dyson vaccuum. That was the only time I ever even shopped on Black Friday.

I don't! I used to just cause all the women in my family go, but I haven't been in like 4 years now. I don't miss it. My Mom said that they might go this year since no one is happy about it starting on Thanksgiving night this year. I feel bad for the employees.

@Smurfette: ugh the commercials for stores opening on Thanksgiving night really irritate me. Black Friday in and of itself doesn't really bother me even though it's not my thing, but this day-before business drives me absolutely crazy. It's Black FRIDAY, not Black THURSDAY!

@Smurfette: I'm anti-stores opening on Thanksgiving night--I think it's super crappy for employees! I also don't do movies or restaurants on Turkey Day for that reason.

@alie: @tororojo: I agree. One thing to have them come in at midnight or one Friday morning. But if the stores are opening at 8 or 9 on Thursday, then you know they are getting there at 5 or 6. Those employees deserve to spend the holidays with their families as much as the big wigs that made the decision will be. Cause you know they aren't working at the stores.

Heck next year, are they going to open at noon on Thanksgiving?

I will make sure to fill up my car with gas tomorrow cause I don't even want to stop for that since I feel bad those people have to work.

I've done it before, but I'm not this year! I'm going to see if I can find a good deal on an ereader online, but I'm not going to any stores.

@highwire: The one good thing about working Black Friday is you're already out in the madness...so it's easy to snag a few deals!

@Smurfette: I think in years to come, stores will be open by lunchtime on Thanksgiving...it gets earlier every year!

No. I hate lines and crowds WAY more than I like getting a deal.

Last year we ordered a TV from Amazon on Black Friday, but that's the only time I've ever shopped on Black Friday.

Ive never done it. Chanukah shopping is nothing like Christmas shopping for us.... I might have spent $25 on lo total. I get it for people who have to get a lot of gifts, but I don't.

I've never gone out at mightnight or crazy hours, but I do like cyber monday deals, thats how we got our crib,dresser and changer for only 199 for all 3!
I also do go out on friday evening and see whats left of the sales

I used too, but not much anymore. we usually didn't get to the mall until late morning since we lived an hour away. I have gone and bought my last two laptops on Black Friday, but since they weren't the real cheap ones I waited until around 11:00 to head out. I might do some online stuff. I also might do small business Saturday since I will be in my home town and they have lots of cute gift shops.

No, I don't like the crowds.
