The joy of Christmas is going out the window. It's tough with a toddler! Shopping is tough with her (thank goodness for my lunch break and online shopping). Wrapping is impossible unless she is sleeping. Christmas just feels like a chore this year and my DH doesn't help much.
Does your DH help with the holidays? Does it help with te burden of it all?

I pretty much do the shopping but he does help. I love to wrap so I just do it all myself.

I put him in charge of buying some things for DD this year. But uh wrap? I don't think he could handle that!

DH tries to help with the shopping sometimes. but it's not really useful because he'll just decide to go shopping one day & not tell me & then buy gifts for people i've already bought presents. but they're never really awesome gifts to begin with so we end up giving the ones i've purchased & his end up staying with us and taking up space =/

Yep, he's pretty helpful with shopping, and surprisingly, loves to wrap presents. He said his dad used to do all the wrapping, so thank goodness for role models

He goes shopping with me, but I do the wrapping (and I prefer it that way because he wouldn't even know where to begin).

He helps shop- he wants to get it over with and I like to take my time so he's there to keep me focused. He tries to help wrap but anything he wraps tends to look like it fell out of the back of a moving vehicle so I usually end up doing his over again

I shop/wrap for my family and he shops/wraps for his family. Works out great. Although I love wrapping. I do write Christmas cards for both sides though as one year I left his for him to do and they didn't make it anywhere.

Not really. Years past he's helped some with the shopping, but I do like 95% of it. He's actually a better wrapper than I am but takes soooo long that I get impatient and do it myself.

I do most of the shopping. He obviously shops for me and takes the oldest one to buy me gifts. He will sometimes also shop for his brother.
He does however love wrapping 
so that's a plus

He doesn't help with wrapping at all. With shopping, only if it's on the weekends and we are together and I ask him his opinion on something... That's his contribution, if that counts.
Yup these days, I only wrap after the kids are in bed for the night! It's time-consuming!

Nope get no help whatsoever! I would be at the mall tonight doing emergency last minute shopping by myself if the kids and I weren't sick.. Guess I'm just hoping those gifts just magically appear

No help with shopping. He'll help with wrapping if I ask him to. Having a LO this year has made the holiday shopping more daunting. I think I've done majority of it online.

We went together to get almost everything this year (the exception being the gifts we bought for each other). DH wrapped the two gifts he got me but it was his first time wrapping! They aren't too bad. I usually do the wrapping. This year, it's all been done while LO was sleeping.

Not really - I picked out gifts for the family (including his) and will probably wrap them all, as well. I'm sure he'd help with the wrapping if I asked, but he's not the greatest at it

@ALV91711: I am trying to at least implement this where I shop for my family and he shops for his family. So far my family all has presents under the tree and his family has nothing. We have talked about ideas for his family, but he hasn't taken action on anything.

No, but I'm anal about it and I want my presents to look all purdy and stuff. Next year I will probably dump the baby on him for a whole weekend while I do this, as punishment Or we'll just bag up our presents instead of wrap them. Easy peasy.

Nope, I pretty much do it all. I love shopping and buying gifts...and I have the time and energy for it, soot doesn't bother me. Plus, I like to find good deals and he would rather overpay than take the time to shop around.

Next year when she is older and more aware of gifts his job will be to look after her while I'm out shopping. This year I did it all with her, and wrapped it all in front of her.

We shop together for the most part, but he does ALL of the wrapping. He's really precise about measuring and getting crisp edges, so as long as I label each box with who it goes to, he'll wrap all the presents. I usually wrap the presents for him from me though, and those are always the worst looking ones under our tree!

We take a day and do all the shopping together without the kids. Since WJ was born we do a "everything from one store" thing. One year everyone got books from Barnes and Noble, one year was Target, etc. We don't leave that store until we have something for everyone on our list.
WS helps with wrapping, but not in actually wrapping since he's awful at it. He changes TV channels for me, gets me drinks, and brings me gifts to wrap / moves gifts to under the tree once they're wrapped. Like the shopping, it all happens in one night while the kids are sleeping.
We are a well-oiled machine.

He doesn't do anything! He buys and wraps (sort of) the presents for me but that's it. I always say Christmas is for children and husbands! I don't mind though I would do most of the shopping for my brother and my dad from when I was young so I'm used to it!

He does shop for his dad, and I usually shop for everyone else. But his mom wants a toolchest this year so I'm all..."Your call, buddy." we exchange presents with them in 4 days and he has no gifts for them.

DH is usually pretty good about wrapping whatever he buys. This year he did a ton of online shopping for DD and I will be instituting a "you bought it, you wrap it" policy just in case he tries to get out of it. Unfortunately he doesn't want to ruin the surprise of Christmas so he is making me wait until Christmas Eve to wrap anything. However since our LO goes to bed no later than 8PM we shouldn't have too much trouble getting things wrapped and under the tree rather early.

We try to get a majority of the shopping done on black Friday (which we do together) but anything other than that is all me. He does all the wrapping because I'm horrible at it and my wrapping drives him crazy haha
