I've read somewhere that exercising post baby could change the taste of your breast milk which could affect your baby's reaction and possibly latching on? Did anyone have this happen to them or their LO?

I started exercising slowly about 3 weeks after baby was born and got to pretty intense exercise by 3 months (2 hour bike rides that turn into races). I never noticed any change in her eating between hard workouts and easy ones or when I started exercising. Baby hasn't been a picky eater though either.

I didn't notice any changes in LO's feeding. I started running at 6 weeks. My LO is also not picky - takes bottles now straight from the fridge.

Exercise didn't affect my milk. I worked out about 30 mins.. Nothing too strenuous.

From what I've read, exercise doesn't affect breast milk. If you don't shower following a workout, the sweat on your skin may taste salty to your LO though. So far, exercise hasn't impacted my LO's breastfeeding at all.

I workout 5 times/week for 30 minutes to 1 hour & haven't noticed LO eating less at all.
