I feel like Halloween is a week long event this year! Anyone else?

On Saturday, we went trick-or-treating at the zoo. On Sunday, our church allowed kids to wear their costumes to a social after Mass for a little party (we chose not to go to the social). Today DD's gymnastics teacher called and told us the kids are supposed to wear their costumes to class. Tomorrow our church playgroup is hosting a little Halloween party, and Wednesday we got invited to a Halloween party/chili cookoff at the church down the street (I think we're going to decline this one, as well). Then Thursday is actual Halloween, of course, which means dressing up again and trick-or-treating. I actually love Halloween, but even I'm feeling a little burnt out on all the festivities! It makes me feel a little nostalgic for the days when Halloween consisted of a classroom party and one hour of trick-or-treating after dinner.
