It finally is starting to get sunny here in the NYC area! My son said last week, "The day I've been dreaming about is finally here. Summer!" Well maybe not yet, but at least it's no longer snowy and/or cold. I'm so relieved by the turn in the weather!

We are in NY too and today is NICE! Too bad I'm mostly inside working... Hoping to take DD out for a stroll of it's still warm later!

It felt like spring on Monday when it was about 75 degrees, now today it's negative 500 degrees and I had to turn my heater back on so it just feels depressing.

@anonysquire: oh we are huge into snow sports, they've gotten more than 2 feet at Snowbird today. So good for snowpack and for water. So bad for my tulips and peonies!

@jedeve: one of my interns planted her tomatoes in March. I said, "Just so you know, we never plant tomatoes here until after mothers day."
I think she thought I was crazy. Now she's got a bunch of dead tomatoes 
In her defense, though, she said she was focusing on cold weather seedlings... so hopefully her lettuce makes it.

It's practically summer here. (At least what other places call summer.) It was is the upper 80s last week.

It has been spring here since mid January. So glad the easy coast finally got some because I have many family and friends there who were really losing their minds.
