I feel like this could be a conversation that plays out between my husband and I. Everyone likes to get complimented but he gets weirdly possessive when that is not his normal MO at all. My husband would want to make sure that I told the guy "My husband thinks so too"

DH definitelly doesn't mind, it just reminds him how lucky he is This feeling is mutual.

It makes me feel good, and I always tell my husband he better watch out And if someone calls him cute/hot I know he likes it. HAHA but for him it's always young girls (our daycare lady's daughter is 14 and gets the giggles when DH picks up LO, she just thinks he's soo cute haha.) He has a baby face so he generally appeals to a younger crowd.

Sadly I don't recall being hit on, at all... haha

I would only like it if it were a lady, which never happens because unfortunately I don't read as obviously gay. I don't like my wife being hit on by ladies though...I know she's good lookin, I don't need reminding. It's good for her ego though, so I try not to complain.

@lawbee11: Indeed. There's a barista at Starbucks that flirts with me and has given me free drinks TWICE. So now DH is like "Ill stay in the car, maybe he'll give you a free drink again." lol

Yes, usually I find it flattering (especially if it's something like "You are beautiful). I do get skeezed out when someone hits on me while I'm with LO (Or calls me a MILF. *shudder* Hate that term.). But just general flirting? Meh, harmless. DH doesn't care.

Also my DH gets hit on all the time by older women and gay men. I have seen more than one old woman come up and squeeze his arm muscles and tell him he looks like Chris Hemsworth (I've also heard Brad Pitt and Bon Jovi, lol). I find it hysterical. I don't care at all.

I think a lot of this depends on context- random person shouting out "you're beautiful!" with kindness in the street? Or coworker looking fondly into your eyes saying you are beautiful... (I think the context depends in regard to how a partner could feel about it.)

I totally agree with you! Makes me feel good And DH doesn't mind one bit - he said he knows he's the lucky one cause he got me and the other guys didn't I feel the same with him. He's had some of his students make comments that he's heard here and there and finds it funny for the most part, but I think it gives him a little ego boost too

I love it! Mexican guys can be very open about their admiration LOL. I have a few favorites I like to remember... once when I was walking my dog this gas station attendant called out, "Beautiful woman, beautiful dog!" That cracked me up so bad.

My husband doesn't mind at all. He thinks it's weird how American guys seem totally unfazed by female beauty. (Although occasionally it manifests itself in really weird and inappropriate ways LOL.)

I do feel like it's been awhile since I got a gem like that, but I also don't spend as much time walking around on the street anymore....
