If so - how much effort to do you put into it?!! Do you enjoy doing it?
Our nursery sends E home with her "weekend book" every Friday evening and we are supposed to detail what she has done, with photos etc, so they can talk to her about it during the week.
I love doing it and I think I may take it a bit far!!!! E's weekend book is a masterpiece!
DH says I'm "that" parent!!!

What a great idea! Although, like @Mamaof2: I probably wouldn't find the time to fill it in...kinda like her baby book, her milestones calendar, etc.

Wow. No way. My daycare does nothing above and beyond their must-do duties. They would never ask us to do this.

What a fun idea!! Assuming you get everything back, you've got an awesome little scrapbook for her!
We definitely don't have anything like this, but I do try to keep up a scrapbook for her on my own

My daycare doesn't do this, but they sort of do the reverse - in addition to LO's sheets and a daily email/pictures about her day and what she did, they also keep a journal there which her primary teacher writes in 2-3x a week; it's in diary/journal form so it always starts "Dear E;" and then they talk about whatever funny thing she's done recently, new skill she's working on, or how far she's come in the last week/month/whatever. When the journal is filled, they start a new one and we get the completed ones. It's awesome.

I have never heard of this idea but it is lovely! It will be so much fun to look back on when she is bigger.

I've only ever seen this done with older children and not every weekend. More like what I did with the class's pet this week(end) or something like that.

Ours doesn't do that, and I'm not sure I'd have the energy to complete one.
