My dog was very excited about the food throwing and dropping phase with LO 1 & 2 but now he has little interest in LO 3's scraps!

Yes. There's def some days when we decrease their dog kibble because they've gotten so much extra.

Yep, it's her favorite time of day! We give her less dog food each day to make up for the scraps.

Yep! LO will even call them over if she drips something. I hate going to people's houses without a dog because there's so much mess to clean up afterwards!

LO and I are suckers. In addition to scraps we also feed extras occasionally as the begging occurs. (Horrible, I know.) We justify to DH, but she is soooo hungry!! DH retorts, She is just a dog. She will always want treats.

@autumnlove: Cam is starting OT at a facility with horses and dogs. His feeding therapy is feeding himself and sharing with the dog. S is point person on this therapy and he is cringing about it

When we had a dog, yes! That's one of the things I miss about having a dog. That being said, there are much fewer food scraps in my house these days

lol when we had a dog, she LOVED the kids scraps. i'd have to kick her out of the kitchen because of how crazy she got when something dropped on the floor.

Yep. And I am thankful for it, haha.
DD wasn't a terrible food thrower so it wasn't a big concern that our dog was eating too much off the floor. Now it's more of an issue b/c she likes to share
