Our daughter asks us every night! She says, "Don't close the door!!". If I leave it open, she will let me leave a lot more easily than if I close the door.
Does your LO ask for their bedroom door to be left open?

Yep. DD's been sleeping with her door wide open since December!

Nope. D wants his closed, because the cats will go in and wake him up.

I think she's asked a few times, but we've said no!

She hasn't asked either way. She's asleep when I leave and I close the door behind me. Even when she wakes up occasionally and cries out, she's asking for us to come in, not leave the door open. I actually think if I left it open, she might see it as "no longer bedtime".

Yep - their shared room has a door open every night. Luckily it doesn't bother J!

When my stepkids are with us, they prefer the door open. I did too when I was young.
