If we had a good meal, my daughter is pretty good about letting me know if she likes something. She does not make a fuss if she doesn't like things, though - which is really nice. Last night she told me she really liked the "sam" and how I cooked the broccoli. Ha.

Yes, I've been receiving a lot of compliments lately. It's so sweet to hear that I make the best food ever. My kids have food allergies, and they don't know what kind of yummy foods they are missing out on.

She frequently compliments the ketchup or other similar condiments. Occasionally she will actually compliment something I made. She's only two so it's a start.

My LO is only 18 months so she's not picky yet or verbal. But she does this thing when she takes a bite she likes where she'll look at me and nod, like "oh yeah, this is what I want." It's hilarious.
And she has this habit that DH does where they'll hum while eating food they really like. I don't know why but she does it occasionally. I know I made a good meal if it's "hum-worthy".

Only once, when it was chocolate chip pancakes. Usually I get responses like "eww I won't eat that!"

LO tells me (and DH) that I make way better rice than DH. We have a rice cooker and our rice comes out identical
LO also tells me that I make way better naan than anyone else. I don't make naan; I either buy it at the store or pick it up fresh at the Indian restaurant lol
