I've been putting Olive down lately, and usually I walk her around a bit after she takes a bottle. But lately she's just been asking to go straight into the crib! So we skip the walk/pat step, at her request.
Does your LO ever ask to be put to bed?

Ds does his sleepy cues and I put him down.
Dd usually doesn't want to go to bed even if she's dead tired, but she's asked to zzz a few times -
Sometimes! He'll get tired of playing in the evening and ask to sleep in Chinese.

My daughter doesn't talk yet but when I ask her if she wants to take a nap, she will nod her head!

My DS just moved from crib to floor bed and he now wants to go straight to bed, no books no nothing... I'm hoping it's just a phase cuz I really miss story time!

Haha, I wish. the closest we get is on rare occasions after her bath she will take my hand and lead me to either the rocking chair, or bed. Either way, I'm still looking at at least 20 minutes of handholding, shh'ing, hair stroking, etc before sleep.
