Charlie will often ask to use the potty... and after a few minutes, he'll say that he pooped or peed. But I will check the potty, and there won't always bee poop or pee there.
Not sure why he's telling us he pooped when he didn't... does anyone else's LO ever do this?

My baby is only 4 months so I have a whole before I have to deal with potty training but this reminds me of the YouTube video of the freakonomics guy who tried to potty train his daughter...you should google it of you haven't seen it...highly entertaining

Does he get any sort of reward for pooping or peeing? I know a lot of people use M&M's or Jelly Beans. If so.... maybe he's trying to get some candy or praise!

the little chicky I nanny did that during potty-training. she did it because she didn't want to sit there anymore. haha. also, she was scared of #2 on the big potty because of the splash (kid you not) so she'd lie and do anything to get out of going.

This reminds me of the clorox commercial where the boy tells his mom " he made a poopoo" and then his mom looks in the toilet bowl and theres nothing there and finds out he did it in the bath tub!
My niece used to always pee near the toilet rather than inside it!
