There aren't too many kids on our street, mostly older people. There are two little boys that live across the street that we have stopped by to chat here and there but we haven't had any real play dates with them. I wish there were more kids near us!

Our neighbor's daughter is 10 and she comes over to play with D (who is 3) all the time. She's so sweet with him!

Yes - there are 2 girls on the street that are within a few months of LO and all 3 will go to school together next year. They play a few evenings a week together.
There's also a handful of older kids; 2 girls in particular who are like 8-10 who love playing with LO and her little girlfriends because the 4 year olds pretty much idolize the older girls
There's also a pair of twins who are 2 and shortly there will be a couple of new babies on the block.

The neighbors have a good handful of grandkids that are there often. One is my older daughter's age, but we haven't been home much this summer so we haven't seen her!

Nope! There are young-ish kids next door but we haven't really met.........

Yes, we met another couple last year at a block party and became friends. Our girls are the same age so we do lots of play dates.

Yes lots of kids - and now my DS and our one neighbor even go to the same preschool class. Our direct neighbor is 9m younger than my 19m old and I am sure they'll end up playing together in the future too.

Yes, the neighbours have sons almost the same ages as mine - 9 days older than my oldest, so they go to daycare together and we try to get together on the weekends, and 3 months older than my youngest so they do tummy time at the park together while their brothers play.

There are ten kids within about the ten houses immediately around ours. A couple dozen more just on our block. Living in the city has some perks.

Yup, they've both attended our neighborhood preschool so we know a lot of local families.

Yes, quite a few. Some we play with and others we don't. We spend at least 2 hours a day outside when the weather allows so we see a lot of them.

She's still a bit young but basically, yes. It's one of my favorite things about our neighborhood. Within a five minute walk I know of at least a sudden kids within a year of her agree and 4 are on our block. We live in a super walkable neighborhood with tons of sahms and awesome schools that we can all walk to which is a big contributor.

Yes, there is a family a couple doors down with two LOs, one a bit older than DD and the other a bit younger. She often demands to go play with them. Another neighbor has a 9-year-old who loves little ones, and even though she's too young to babysit yet, I'm all about letting her come entertain DD when she feels like it.
There are some other kids nearby that are close in age to DD but we don't see them much, hopefully she will get to know them better as they get older. Also, a few of her daycare friends live in our neighborhood even though they're a bit too far away to really call "neighbors" (like 8-10 blocks).

We have new neighbors who moved in across the street, and it's one of LO's old classmates. They've had a few play dates so far. There's also another boy his age down the street, and they occasionally ride bikes together.

Yes. So far, they just play when we happen to meet at the playground or park. But we just got new next door neighbors with 2 kids close to my daughter's age, so I'm hopeful for some playdates.

Our "neighbors" are all DH's family. My kids are really the only kids. My BIL has a son about 1.5 years older than DD but he's only here every other weekend and occasional weeknight sand they're rarely home. So no. We have to leave to play with friends lol

Not just yet. Her bffs live a couple blocks away though. A few other kids from her preschool live just a few houses away, but they're not the same age.
