Neither one of my girls cares for cows milk much. My oldest daughter will have it in cereal but that's about it. I've tried to get them to drink it but they just won't! Does your LO like cows milk? If not, do you give them something else as an alternative?

LO isn't a huge fan, but I'm not sure yet if it's because he just dislikes anything other than a bottle. I can get him to down about 4 oz a day.
I try to make sure he gets yogurt at breakfast and then cheese throughout the day to make up for it.

Nope - neither one of mine will drink it, although I can get by with mixing it in their cereal every morning. DD1 doesn't really eat any dairy (she only just tried ice cream for the first time this week, at 2.5 years old!), so I worry constantly about her calcium intake. DD2 at least eats yoghurt, cheese, and foods with cheese on it (pizza, grilled cheese sandwiches etc). Sigh, it drives me crazy - I wish they would both drink milk like everyone else's child so I wouldn't need to worry!
Both girls were EBF and never had any formula ever, so maybe the jump from BM to cow's milk was too much for them, especially as I never really pumped much and wasn't able to mix BM and cow's milk to transition them...

No she hates it. She gets Greek yogurt twice a day and usually some cheese once or twice. Her eggs are generally cooked in grass fed butter. I figure that's covering our bases.

My babe doesn't like milk of any kind. To be fair, we've never tried cow's milk, but yeah, she prefers water. No juice, no milks.
I hated milk as a child. My parents would make me drink it until I was gagging. Horrible.

Mine loves it. But she's never met a dairy product she didn't like!
@Cherrybee: Mine was breastfed and she loves cow's milk too. I think it's just a personal preferance like anything else. -
She's never had it! Just breast milk and now hemp milk. She's so-so on hemp milk. She loved it in bottle form, but in sippy form, she can take it or leave it. Today, she's had half a cup from her straw cup in the entire day, and I've offered it several times.

Yes! She's 19 months and doesn't love it as much as she used to, but she still drinks it a few times a day.

LO#1 likes milk now, but I struggled to get her interested at all until she weaned (18 mo). I figured that was fine since she was getting my milk and didn't push too hard, and then all the sudden she got interested later on.

He was allergic so we switched to almond milk with a teaspoon of safflower oil in every 8oz.

@Anagram: You described what I was trying to say! I think my LO would guzzle it down if I offered it in bottle form, but in a straw cup/sippy cup he isn't interested. At least he loves cheese...

Yes DS loves it and drinks more than I feel like he should! I just started giving it to dd last week and she loves it too.

We started her late due to her allergy and she really wasn't a fan. Now she loves milk.

She's not a fan. I give her whole milk yogurt and cook lots of things in butter. She occasionally eats cheese at well.

DS LOVES it! He was EBF until 8 months (BF until 18 months) and I started him on cows milk at around 11 months..

Nope. She even cried that she didn't like it and didn't want any when I was pulling it out of the dairy cooler at the store this week.

Yep, ds drinks whole milk just as well as formula and breastmilk. Could it be a phase for now? As a kid, I wouldn't drink milk and only wanted apple juice. This was well before other types of milk were popular and so my mom never substituted with anything else. I grew out of it eventually and never had an issue.
