DD is always (strangely) excited to go! We went for her dental check up today and she loved it but didn't understand why we were going at first. She said "my teeth are not sick!". Haha!

No way, My son hates going to the doctor and dentist! He doesn't mind the doctor as much (if he's not getting shots) but he screamed bloody murder at the dentist's office. He even screamed when he was getting his hearing checked. And it was supposed to be fun!

DD loves the doctor. In fact, yesterday she told me she wanted to go to the doctor and that she would say "hi" and give her doctor a big hug so she could get a flavored tongue dispenser. Lol!

He has always liked going to the doctor except when I took him for a consultation 2 days after his 18-month shots. He was still traumatized that time. No wonder our doctor makes them have a second appointment another day for shots... she doesn't want the kids to hate her. But he really hated that nurse LOL

I loved going to the doctor when I was little. I was also a ham and loved attention so I think I just have fun having all the doctors and nurses love on me : )

@Honeybee: oooh flavored tongue depressors - I never knew they had those!
@MamaMoose: maybe that is why DD loves it, never thought about that!

DD doesn't mind going to the doctor, although anymore when she has to get shots or examined she freaks out. She quickly recovers though and will say Hi to every person we see on the way out of the office.
She went for an ENT appt the other day and now whenever I say anything about anyone going to the doctor she puts her fingers in her ears and says "doctor".

@purpletulips: I have an appt for my son to see an ENT in a few weeks. How was the appointment? Did your DD have her ears checked? Did she freak out? I'm nervous cause my son HATES it when we touch his ears!

M. doesn't mind and I think Lala kind of likes it because she gets to see what mama does when "mama goes to job".
