I arrived at daycare a little earlier than usual and the kids were enjoying snacktime so I tried to hide from LO. She spotted me a few minutes later and had a meltdown and wanted to be held ASAP!

DS is like this too when I pick him up from his grandparents or the church nursery!

Yes. We deal with this badly
The worst is when we get in the front door at home and I have all my bags and her bags, have to pee an change out of my work clothes and all she wants is to be held.

Yes, before he could crawl he would hold his hands up until I picked him up. Now, he crawls to me and then tugs on my leg. He gets a huge grin. I love it!

@T.H.O.U.: I have the same problem! I haven't peed alone after work in weeks! I just hold her while I pee. I'm starting to feel like if I ever lose an arm I might actually be able to function!

LO is the same way - whatever she is doing or holding gets dashed into the air and she runs and cries to me. I don't know why! But then she doesn't want to leave!

Hehe.... for the first year or so Wagon Jr. would REFUSE to leave! We had to bribe him to leave and get into the car!
Now he runs to us and jumps into our arms. I think he sees the other kids do it and he wants to do the same. So much nicer and easier to get him out of there!

I felt like a jerk face for creating a scene at snack time!
