It's not even close... I'm pretty sure they would choose a video every time! That said, they both love being read to at night... there's something soothing and bonding about that experience that videos can't touch!

videos, she has the potential to be a couch potato if we don't nip it in the bud! she would watch all day if allowed, not good. Books are so hit and miss with her.

Books. From the moment we get home from daycare she runs to her books and says the word book over and over again til I sit down to read to her. I'm glad she likes to read but sometimes I get tired of reading the same books over and over again!

Definitely video. He likes books but he loves video. His favorite is videos of himself. He wants to watch them over and over and over.

Videos for sure. We're trying to work on his screen time, but with my dad and FIL watching him 3 days/week, it's tough to limit that when we're not home and they don't know how to say no to him.
