A friend gave me some dresses recently so I spent an evening trying them on. Each time I zipped on up and turned towards the mirror, my lo said, "you look nice, mommy" and "I like that one, mommy". This is new and I hope it keeps up forever. lol

I wasn't trying on clothes, but I was changing in front of Xander yesterday (because I can't go anywhere without him following me) and he poked me in the belly button and went "Boop!"

@mediagirl: yes I love it! DD LOVES all my clothes and wants to know if she have them when she is 5
If I wear a dress I am automatically a princess

She talks a lot about boobies when I change in front of her. Last time, she pointed at my chest and said, "Mommy's boobies!" then pointed at her chest and said, "Hiya's boobies!"

@avivoca: @Adira: my 3 year old is incredibly interested in my boobs, as well. She likes to "bonk" them. She smacks them with her palm. For fun.

@avivoca: @mediagirl: haha, Xander will point out mine if he sees them and is all "Nipples!" and then points out his own. And then asks if I'm going to feed Logan, lol.

@mediagirl: aw, love that!
So far, my older LO only knows about compliments. "That's so pretty mama". My younger one will notice and touch something and just say "mama" but I know she notices.

My lo always compliments me on new clothes! I love it!! It is so so sweet

She doesn't comment on my clothes, but comments on my panties every day when we get home and I change out of my work clothes. "You got pink panties Mommy! I got Minnie ones!"

@Smurfette: haha, my LO does this too! (Glad my LO isn't the only one, lol)

@yoursilverlining: I am hoping once the newness of potty training wears off she will stop commenting on it!

Yes! DD just turned 3 and likes to talk about my clothes and make comparisons (ex: "I'm wearing gray, and you're wearing gray! We match!!", "I like your jeans, mommy.").
If I'm wearing a dress (pretty rare), she always compliments me and asks me to twirl LOL. It's the cutest but I try not to focus on it bc I don't want her obsessing over her outfits any more than she already does....

@Smurfette: H gets super excited when she sees my underwear and starts talking about her "underwears" (diaper cover).

"Umma look nice/pretty!" umma dress is pretty!" Melts my heart!!!!

@avivoca: exactly this! She's obsessed with boobs, talks about mine constantly (and even more embarrassing to other people!) She told our daycare lady "my mommy has huge boobs, mine will get there some day" she's 3

The first time he saw me in a swimsuit this summer, he rubbed the fabric and said - you look so pretty, mama. I wanted to cry it was so sweet and such a boost to my self esteem. Other than that, nothing.

Awwwww!! That is so sweet!!
DS doesn't say anything, but will poke my belly button if he sees it while I'm changing.
Meanwhile, if I'm out shoe shopping, he'll pick all sorts of shoes for me and demand that I try them on. If I don't, he gets upset so I have to at least slip them on. Afterwards, I can tell him to put it back, and he'll happily do so. Sigh. Kids. Lol

Sometimes he'll point to what I'm wearing and say it's so pretty! Or if I put on nail polish or perfume or jewelry (which I do rarely) he definitely comments. It's so cute!

"wow that's a biiiiig belly' lol
When J was just a little guy I used to say, 'wow look at that biiiiig belly' and chase him to tickle him when he'd show me his tummy. So it became a game and he thought it was hilarious to flash me his belly. That sure did backfire, huh? hahaha

@rachiecakes: HAHAHA!!!
I get "mommy's bee bo" or "mommy's booos. Baby eat". Or she mentions the olor I'm wearing.

C will say things like "mommy looks good!" When I try on clothes, which is so nice! And on the rare occasion that I wear earrings she always points to them and says "you look pretty mommy!" I'll take it!
She also frequently says "you have a cute rush!" Which is extra funny when I'm actually changing. obviously we said that to her too much.

LO has been really into giving compliments, to us and to randoms. "I yike your shirt. I yike your hair. I yike your necklace."
If she ever sees my boobs, she gets very excited and says, "Nurse!" She has not nursed for several months. I think she thinks that is the name of the body part and I don't have it in me to correct her.
honeydew / 7504 posts
If I'm wearing a dress, D will say, "You wear a dress, Mommy! I like that." So cute.

Two times now: Mommy that's a beautiful dress! So sweet. (One time I was dressed up...the other time I just put on an old sundress...)

@rachiecakes: hahahah that's absolutely hilarious!
He makes comments! He also asks me if I wear underwear lol. He's such a goof. He especially likes it, and points it out, if I wear blue because that's his favorite color.
cantaloupe / 6791 posts
Hahaha! These are hilarious!
He tells me he "likes" pretty much everything I'm wearing.
Also, when I was very pregnant, LO pointed to my (very much an outtie at the point) belly button and said "mama's pee pee?!"

Whenever I wear a dress he always says momma you look so pretty! He also comments on my boootiful necklaces

All I get is "boobies!" Today he asked what they were and I told him boobies and reach up to pat them and was like "yeah!" Lol such a boob man.

My 3.5yr old DD constantly grabs my legs and blows raspberry farts on them hahahah or kisses my baby belly.
If I wear a flannel shirt she will always comment that I have dad's clothes on
