Mine doesn't! Instead he frowns at the camera. I have so few pics of him smiling because the moment he sees the camera he gets very stoic. It's so sad!!
How old is your lo and do they smile for the camera?
Oh, ds is 7 months.

No! If she is smiley and happy and gurgling at us, I'll turn my phone towards her to get a shot and she stops smiling! I try to be stealth like sometimes but that backfires and just gives me blurry pictures.

Aww! My LO used to smile the second I brought it out. Now she does sometimes, sometimes there's no expression. She's 14 months.

@Coco Bee: omg M does the exact same thing! She can be smiling and laughing but once she sees the camera she goes serious. We have to distract her to capture a smile usually!

@mediagirl: @regberadaisy: Ugh glad it's not just ds. We do crazy things to try to get him to smile again lol. The only great pics I have are when DH makes him laugh and I cam get a pic before ds sees.

Nope, it's an instant frown or a poker face. Very rarely will I get a smile.

Yes! But I don't think he's smiling for the camera necessarily but more at the funny face or noise I make to get his attention.

LO is 5 months old, she will smile for a picture but I have to work for the smile, I have to play with her while taking the pictur and make lots of silly sounds. She used to frown at the camera too only because I guess she was trying to figure out what it was.

@Mrsbells: I thought that too, you'd think at 7 months he'd be ok with it now. even though I do crazy stuff to make him smile, he looks at me like I'm crazy!

@Coco Bee: maybe try holding one of his toys in the other hand and wave it in front of him while you take the picture with the other hand?

Of if you have a stand for your camera you might have to take stealth shots, lol I do that sometimes

@Mrsbells: I need a tripod now that he is so tricky!!
Well, I don't have a point and shoot - I had a DSLR so it makes it a lot hard to take a picture with one hand. Most of the time they're not in focus, dark or he's halfway out of the frame!
