Went to tjs for the first time in a long time and took ds for the first time. He loved pushing his own cart.
We shoved his fleece blanket in it so he couldn't grab groceries!

Our daughter isn't quite 2, so I don't trust her with the kiddie cart yet. I can't wait until she can use it though. I think those things are adorable, so long as the kid is old enough to know how to stay out of other people's way.

Ours will not, when she is old enough. It is our biggest pet peeve is how busy tj's always is, and it is such a small store. Maneuvering around a bunch of kids with carts drives me nuts so I won't be doing that. I guess maaaybe if we went on like, a Tuesday am when it was totally empty. But we always go on weekends when it's way too crowded for that.

The only store around here with toddler carts is Trader Joes and it is way too small to let her loose with a cart! She would be ramming into every display!

Only when the store is not busy, usually weekday mornings. We dont let her push it if we go during the weekend! She loves pushing the cart and depositing groceries into it!

I'm sure this is in our future. She is only 13 -months old so it would be interesting/ scary right now!

I don't trust him enough yet! And @Mae: has a good point- there is cart etiquette to teach as well.

Yes, my son loves them. He goes and gets it himself, he puts it away when we're done all because he knows he gets a bunch of stickers.
He's 3.

Luckily, we don't have any of those little carts at the TJs where we shop. Like @Mae, that would drive me nuts... like people with strollers at Disneyland who aren't paying attention.

DD always pushes the little carts at TJ and WF if she sees them!

Yup! She's been pushing carts since she was 18 months. At two years she's really good at maneuvering them and doesn't knock into ppl or displays
