Sometimes! Groggy=cranky for R but yeah, distraction snaps her out of it.

Lately, yes...I have to immediately get a snack of some kind as soon as he wakes up.

Yes lately... Sometimes it's almost like a night terror mid day... Especially if it was interrupted or shortened for some reason..

Only if it's a short nap! If she has a nice long nap that is at least an hour, then she wakes up and gives us huge smiles.

She cries when she wakes and is a bit groggy, but smiles come soon afterwards.

Yes! Very clingy/needy for the first few minutes. We actually enjoy it because it's guaranteed snuggle time before he's on the move again!

Only if his nap was too short, like if something woke him up early. If he wakes up happy and talking to himself in his crib, we know he's had enough nap.

Sometimes she wakes up crying but as soon as you go to get her she's fine. I think it's just her letting you know she wants out!
