I was never a big fan of character clothing before I had kids. Once my LO started getting into certain characters I started buying her character clothes (Elmo, Hello Kitty, My Little Pony), the very characters I wasn't a huge fan of pre-kiddos. I like how excited she gets when she sees them though, so we continue to buy them for her. I need to go on a hunt for more Elmo clothes though, since that is her latest thing.
Does your LO wear character clothes? Which character are they currently into?

No character clothes yet but I do love letting him wear clothes that he's excited about! So he has a tractor shirt and a fire truck shirt and a shark shirt...

He has Elmo jammies, I didn't buy them for him, but he for sure wears them. He's only 3 months though... so he probably won't be in character stuff until he asks for it unless it's gifted.

No, she doesn't have any. Her grandma bought her a Minnie shirt, but it never fit her. I prefer no characters though until she asks and then I will let her.

No. I don't like character clothing, I'm more into the "little man" style. That being said, he's only a year so he's not into any characters yet. I doubt I'll tell him no if he really wants something, but I won't buy unless he asks.

I bought DD a Nemo Tshirt because she loves Finding Nemo. She smiles when she sees it but isn't quite verbal yet so I am waiting too see what will happen later. I will continue to dress her up in girly clothes until she finds and shows me what she likes. Also, I don't have a problem with character clothing at all. I LOLed at your IG post, what a fun start to your day! Hope you have a calm evening.

yep. In elementary school, the characters are everything, lol.
D picked out a bunch of character clothes he liked for M, too. It doesn't bother me.
Shirts and onesies with words bug me to no end, though.

She has ONE shirt with Rapunzel on it. I bought it because she picked it out.
I don't generally like them. I avoid Minnie and Hello Kitty like the plague.

I don't like character shirts and he's far too young to care, so that's a no! 
In the future, if he really wanted one, I'd buy it for him. I would feel bad denying him what he wants to wear even if it wasn't my favorite thing ever!

Yup (she's almost 2). She has a Bubble Guppies shirt, a Yo Gabba Gabba shirt, and I bought her a Frozen shirt for her birthday.
Kids are kids, so I don't mind when they wear "loud/obnoxious" clothing that isn't my style. I love looking back at my old baby pics to see a tacky Mickey Mouse shirt and shoes that scream the 80s.

i did a little bit for Charlie. I got him an Elmo shirt and a Thomas shirt. But since then I haven't bought him anything other than the superhero underwear I bought this week!
I haven't bought Olive any character clothes so far. She's picky about her clothes, so I think it's better that way otherwise she'll want to wear her character clothes all the time.

He has a superman and a batman sleeper and a shirt with cookie monsters face on it. That's it & I didn't buy any of them.
I figure I have many many years of "moooooom can I have the transformer shirt pllllleeeeeeeeeaseeeeeee?" No sense starting that now!

Superheroes and Jake. He looooves Jake! We do mostly graphic tees, but we have a few of these.
I also got little brother an Elmo shirt since C loves Elmo, I figured it would help him like little bro better. It definitely has helped, he loves to point to Elmo and does the Elmo laugh

I expected it to be a lot worse than what it turned out to be, honestly. We have one character shirt, with Mickey on it. He much prefers his shirts with excavators, dump trucks and bugs.

DD is obsessed with stars - so she has lots of clothes with stars on them! She has some character nightgowns that she loves though

LO is obsessed with kitty's, so she loves anything hello kitty. we have a few hello kitty t-shirts and I think they are adorable on her.

Nope, but not because I'm hugely opposed to them but because I'm cheap and they're never in the clearance section.
When she's old enough to ask for them I'll buy them then.
I can NOT stand HK. So when my mom bought her a few shirts I sold them in a garage sale. LOL. I've never shown her HK so she doesn't know any better.

Not yet. I'm not personally a fan of them, so right now I don't put him in any of it. Although when he gets a bit older I probably will.
But I think it will be more super hero stuff than Disney...

i actually hate character clothing. Haha ... there are so many nicer options in my opinion. BUT she does have a hello kitty pj dress that someone got her and I let her sleep in it. She knows all the characters but never asks for them so I don't buy them!
