She needs 24/2T on top. 18-24 on bottom for shorts but 2T for pants. Her waist has slimmed a bit but she's really tall. She wears short shorts.

D has always had smaller pants...he's shirt size 7 and pants size 5.
M is even so far.

My DS is a size smaller on the bottom and my DD is bigger on the bottom!

Yes, but it kind of teeter totters. He's 12 almost 18 months on top, but some 12 month shorts are too loose on him. However, 9 months are too tight.

Nope! He has a long torso but shorter legs and is thin!
2T or 18-24 on top depending on brands
18-24 pants due to length, but 12-18 shorts

@winniebee: we are the same!
L is 9 - 12 months on top and about 6 - 9 on bottom. What a shorty. LOL.

He's pretty much 2T for tops and bottoms. He's mainly in Old Navy, so their 2T runs small anyway. For pants, he's still in 18 month ones because he's all belly, but his legs are a touch shorter. Once his belly goes away, his legs grow. It's an endless cycle.

No, and I just learned this recently! He can wear either 12 or 18 months on the top, but only 9 or 12 months on the bottom (especially with shorts). He will be 19 months old this week.

they both wear smaller bottoms. olive is skinny so it's hard to find pants and shorts that fit.
charlie has short legs so he is always one or two years behind in bottoms. but i buy tops one year ahead.
