Just checked on my eldest, and he looks like he's about to fall off the bed! I moved him to the middle of the bed and stuck a pillow to the side just in case... because the bed has no railing (the other side of his bed is the wall though).
He fell one night, and made a loud thump! Since then, I've been more careful - but no railing yet.

Yes, I bought one that goes with her twin bed. She still sleeps kinda crazy at 3.5.

Nope. It's low to the ground though and he has only fallen out 3 times in 2 years. The first two nights he fell out but landed on his former crib mattress that I had put next to the bed. He fell out randomly another time, but I think he must have had a bad dream or something. He didn't wake up and continued sleeping on the floor until the next morning.
