Olive used to fall asleep in the carrier when she was younger, but we haven't used it the past couple of months since it's so hot. She's also used to sleeping in her crib or stroller, so I don't know if she'd fall asleep in the carrier.
I'm thinking I may need to sleep train her to fall asleep in the carrier! It would make traveling a lot easier.
How old is your LO and do they fall asleep in their carrier?

Our LO never slept in her carrier. :T We never took her out for long periods of time though.

Maddox did last week at 7.5 months. We don't use it for long periods that often. When we do he nearly always falls asleep. If it's nap time he naps, wherever he is.

LO is 7 months and has never been too fond of the carrier but yesterday I wore her and she fell asleep for about 30 minutes for the first time.

DS is 5 months and he naps in our beco on our back, but not for very long. He used to nap in the ring sling, but lately he hasn't been.
We don't have him in the carrier very often either.

Ours never did in the carrier and rarely in the stroller. my kids are curious bees!

I've taken to wearing him JUST so he'll fall asleep! Sometimes he's too tired or fussy or whatever to nurse to sleep, so we plop him in the carrier (mesh baby k'tan at the moment) and bounce/walk around the backyard in the shade until he conks out. He likes the carrier a lot more now that he's older (5 months on Monday); I think he was at an awkward size for the mei tai for a while, and it got hot too soon here in TX to take him out in the Moby more than once or twice.

My lo is 2.5 months and i just got her to tolerate the carrier a couple weeks ago. When i wear her and i'm out running errands, she falls asleep 50% of the time.

My LO hasn't napped in a carrier since she was 8 months, and now she won't even tolerate being carried in one.

I put Lala to sleep in the Ergo for nap today. She sleeps great in it!

Yes, it is my last resort when nothing else works because the second we start walking, he will be out cold.

When LO was younger, he always slept very well in the ergo. When we flew with him, as soon as I strapped him into the ergo, he'd fall right asleep. That helped tremendously when we traveled though it does get uncomfortable for me.
