I have seen many a PWC (Post Wedding Chop) in my time, and the results are always... I guess "practical" is the word to describe it.
Nothing wrong with wanting to go with practical! I often choose practical convenience over other less tangible attributes. (ETA: That said, I am usually not a fan of the PWC... although I have a few that turned out ok.)
Does your SO prefer your hair long or short? How about you?

Doesn't sound like you're a fan of the chop! My SO tells me to always keep my hair long but I prefer it that way,too.

Hubs likes mine long, but he's never seen it any other way. I've had it (very) long since childhood. He says now that if I wanted to cut it he'd be ok, but he'd rather I didn't. My hair is waist length and wavy and dark red, so I'm not sure I would have the same uniqueness without it, so I'm keeping it for now. Even though it's a lot of work and upkeep.

He doesn't care either way. At least that's what he tells me. I don't care either. I think it looks better short but easier long because I can put it in a pony tail.

I had no choice but to cut it after my son was born, it was just falling out in odd spots and looked terrible. My DH doesn't say he prefers it one way or another, I think he likes it no matter what as long as it is styled. He's not a big fan of the headband/random clips/ponytail look that I was sporting!

My husband likes medium to long hair. He has seen me with it at my waist and at my chin. He doesn't like it when it is super short or super long because he think I look younger and that weirds him out. I like my hair on the longer side. Right now it is at the small of my back and I think that is the perfect length. I never did a PWC because I wasn't growing it out for the wedding.
ETA my husband does have very strong feelings about hair color. He loves red heads and my hair is naturally red with some brown. If I died it, or even got highlights, he would be mad.

I like it long as does DH. I wish I had the face to pull off short hair because it would be so much lighter, easier, and faster.

DH surprisingly likes mine short (chin-ish length). I WAY prefer it long. I kind of did a pre-wedding-chop - like four months or so before the wedding and was surprised by how many people were shocked that I cut my hair before the wedding.
Actually just asked, he wants me to cut it again.

My husband prefers my hair long. But I have really thick hair and lots of it. So he knows when it gets really long it starts to get really heavy and drive me crazy. Basically I'm in a routine where I'll grow my hair really long for like a year and a half and then chop it all off and then start the process over again. I've donated my hair four times now.

I don't ever let my hair get super long or cut it super short...it's very curly so a medium length is easiest for me. When it does get on the longish side I always pull it back so I think he likes it shorter/freshly cut so I wear it down.

My husband prefers mine long. I've been growing it out since before we met, so he's really only seen me with long (for me) hair. I've thought about cutting it a few times, but I'm enjoying the length and variety of styles I can do with it.
I always had shorter hair when I was younger because my hair was fine, but it's gotten thicker with age.

He likes long hair on me (almost waist length), I like long hair on him (keeps it shoulder length), and we both like long hair for ourselves. I keep debating a late pregnancy chop, and... I'm not sure I'll go for it. Husband LOVES ponytails on me, so... it might work...

My husband never really expressed a preference, but whenever I get my hair cut short he loves it. I have lots of very fine curly hair so when it grows past a certain length it's a nightmare. My hairdresser does an awesome job of keeping my short hair sassy and not "just" practical

He prefers it long. I let it grow and then chop it when I can't handle it anymore. I make sure he realizes, hair does grow! I don't normally go above a long bob, though. He definitely would not be happy if I got a pixie cut. I can't wait to cut my current mop but it's still working OK for me, for now. I figure I'll cut it after the baby comes and it all starts falling out again.

DH LOVES LOVES LOVES my long hair. I had long hair from high school until a month after our wedding. My PWC was pretty drastic as I hadn't had short or medium length hair in over 10 years! I chopped and donated over 13 inches... My hair grows uber fast and now it's back to my boobage area.
