I do too though, and I've caught dd talking in her sleep too!

Hubs does it all the time! Freaks me out sometimes because it is so random throughout the night

@Danizaur: hahaha that's so funny! I vaguely remember a blog where the woman jotted down everything her husband said in her sleep. It was hilarious!!

You should do that too!

@Danizaur: he doesn't, but I do. I'll have whole conversations and not recall anything. My sisters and I all talk on our sleep.

Once I was coming to bed after my husband was already asleep, and as I was standing beside the bed he sort of sat up and said "Good evening, General."
He also tends to fall asleep as soon as we turn the lights off, so I can be talking to him and suddenly his replies will stop making any kind of sense.

Yup, a few nights ago he burst out laughing in his sleep. I asked what was so funny and he said "It's just a joke, you wouldnt get it." No recollection of it the next morning!

My husband does all the time! He is always laughing (I guess it's good his dreams are funny) and about 70% of the time he's incoherent, but the rest I can understand and they're so random. One time he babbled on about "Stan" (we have no friends/family by that name). Another time he poked me, laughed, and said "Whoa, I thought you were a cat." If I catch him at the right time, I can actually have a conversation with him, and one time I kept it going so long I actually got a recording of it. So funny! He also has zero recollection the next morning.

No but apparently I do. My mom said she could get anything out of me in my sleep when I was living at home!

Oh yeah, and in multiple languages! He NEVER curses, but in his sleep he does, in German! It's hilarious.

My dad once sat up in his sleep while my mom and I were talking and said "I've just had an amazing revalation!"
No memory if it the next day.

DH does this when he is super tired and finally is able to fall asleep. Here is one just from this week.

DH: "Don't pick me."
Me: "What?"
DH: "Don't pick me, I'm not on the list."

All I could think of was The Hunger Games, for some reason.

Hubs will do it occasionally, mostly mumbling and incoherent. He has night terrors as well, brought on by him cocooning himself in the covers and getting over heated. He'll scream and sit up in a panic still completely asleep and won't remember a thing the next day.
