Omg. My 2 year old never takes a breath lately! I feel bad but I'm about to lose my mind.
I haven't lost my patience with her yet but sometimes I answer a little too quickly. I can only hear the same statement or question so many times in a row!!!

Same here. Drives me nuts. I loooove my newborn's silence now.

Yep! Even if she's saying a statement that doesn't require a response she'll repeat it 600 times until you say something!

Yes! He narrates what he is doing. "I'm gonna run over there, Mama. I'm running away." And sometimes he tells me when he is going to misbehave before he does! "I'm going to throw my fork!"

Non.Stop.
He didn't really talk until he hit 2.5 - he babbled constantly, but now with words? Never a minute of silence.

Oh my goodness, yes. Both of them, my 2.5 yr old and my 12 month old. All. Day. Long. I love it, but sometimes.....well, we'll just the phrase 'silence is golden' comes to mind with a wistful sigh more often than I care to admit!

Yes. It was a big factor in knowing that I could not homeschool or even be a full time stay at home parent without help. If my mother in law didn't help me out, I would have gotten a part time job. I do not have the mental energy to discuss the motivation of each Curious George character 16 hours a day.

Yes, constantly! It's maddening some days because I will ask him to be quiet and he starts humming instead of talking!

Omg. I'm about to lose my mind! She's 2.5 and I now know what they mean about 3's.

Yuuuuuuup. Constantly. It starts off cute in the morning and by the afternoon I usually want to plug my ears lol

Yes but we aren't at real sentences yet so sometimes it's really really adorable and fun to hear her words, other times she just keeps asking for help with, from what I can tell, nothing and it leads to lots of miscommunication between us and it's annoying lol

Not yet, he's only got a couple of words at the minute! I may change my mind when the time comes but I am really looking forward to all the talking! I talk way too much myself though!

Oh yeah. Just turned 3 and has not stopped for months. At school I guess he doesn't do this because one of the other moms mentioned to me that he doesn't say much - HA!

CONSTANTLY, I usually just stare and laugh at her in amazement at the stuff she comes up with to tell us about. But it can get a bit much, she will repeat the SAME question over and over and over until you answer her the way SHE wants it answered. She's not one to take no very well.

@petunia354: it just started the last couple weeks! relentless!

@petunia354: I am with you. I can't wait till I can have a conversation with her. All we get now are one word or a couple two word (bye bye, nite nite).

Yep, such a talker these days. His talking has vastly improved since he switched to preschool. He uses pronouns now! What's funny is that DH tried to get LO to talk to the doctor yesterday to show the growth. LO was shy about it though.

Yep. I like to talk too though so we chat all freaking day. I do feel a little talked out by bedtime though! Everything required a response, and not just 'uh huh' or she'll keep repeating whatever it is lol. I'm amazed at the new stuff she comes up with every day.
