I know this sounds weird, but the last day or so my tongue has felt like it doesn't really fit in my mouth comfortably anymore. I have sores/ulcers on both sides, probably from biting my tongue or from it constantly hitting my teeth. I also have TMJ which has been acting up recently, but no clue how or if that is related.
Anybody ever have this issue? So random and frustrating.

i definitely had some tmj while i was pregnant but i think that was more from clenching my jaw because of anxiety... no swollen tongue though. it sounds super annoying!

It's strange, I have been feeling like this too lately? I am prone to canker sores but this is the first time I have one on the side of my tongue... It's really disturbing. I have found that what I eat, like too much citrus, salt, will irritate my mouth and make things worse. I don't think it's really possible for your tongue to be too big, but maybe there is some inflammation at play? That's the only thing that I can think of to explain my issue, although DH thinks its related to my cross bite.

My husbands tongue really is too big for his mouth. He can never move it out of the way to see his throat. Maybe you are experiencing allergies to something you are eating.
