Our regular driver uses his dolly and helps me get heavy packages into our front foyer.
Another driver just dropped off our new crib and mattress, rang the doorbell and I watched him RUN back to the truck and drive off. Maybe this is normal and our regular driver is just nice!

LOL, I had to laugh at the fact that he ran off. For heavy packages whoever comes by usually helps me get it into our foyer.

Nope. They ring the doorbell and leave immediately. Which is fine with me because my dogs are hyper so I go out and get the package when they calm down or I wait for DH to get it when he gets home.

I once had a UPS guy pile the boxes in front of our door, when I opened the door the packages where higher than me! I thought it was kind of funny, but I can't help but wonder if he was doing it to be mean (they were boxes of dog food).
They have never brought the packages inside my house.

Mine help me if I answer the door and they wait a bit if they see my car in the driveway.

No, the UPS guy doesn't even ring the doorbell here, just leaves whatever on our deck.

I am going to have to ask my bro what he does! He is a driver for UPS. I know they have to make so many runs out by the end of their shift, hence why many couriers drop and run...but it sure would be nice of him to help get boxes in!

I love my UPS guy. He sees me struggle with LO and holding back my 65 lb dog, so he always puts my packages inside for me. He also tries to make it easier for me to sign because I usually have only one hand.

They aren't allowed past the door frame, but if you have a relationship, they might help a little. We know our UPS guy personally, but he won't do more than get a heavy box right in the door. He likes his job and wants to keep it. He usually just rings the bell and runs, though.

Omg my sister was just complaining about this. It wasn't our regular guy. He wouldn't help bring the boxes into the hallway. She was ticked!

Ours has in the past, but it is against their regulations, so they are taking a risk by doing it.

We are never home when they deliver, so DH just buzzes them in (the building doorbell goes to his phone) and they leave it in the lobby. If it's something big, I just leave it for DH to get when he gets home.

No, I never knew that they could ...and I guess they shouldn't be! I hate it when the guy is lazy and throws the package. Our regular guy doesn't do this.

Our guy carries my stuff all the way up 3 flights of stairs in my building. He's awesome! He's put heavy stuff right inside the door for me.

If I'm home, yes. I got so much delivered while I was on maternity leave that he knows me very well. lol. When I was home with the baby, he would always place every package right inside the door. I miss seeing him now that I'm at work! haha!

Yep. But he also always, always, always sets all my packages inside the front door (we pretty much never lock. Ever.) if I don't answer when he knocks.
