Baby is 7.5 months old and we started some version of BLW, combined with cereals and feeding him from our fingers right around 6 months. At first I was excited, and his grasp is getting better, but the stress of planning meals, worries about choking/allergies, mess, added time, worries about nursing/mealtime etc. are getting to us!
Should I not worry no matter how big bites he takes? (he has no teeth)
Does he need to be offered 3 meals a day, or does 1 or 2 suffice?
At this age, is it ok to skip solids some days? When will that not be an option?
What about when he takes bites but neither swallows nor spits the food out? Today I found a chunk of apple in his mouth and worried.
Can babies be mum mum addicts?
Even as I write this, I know I sound a little ridiculous, but life was so easy when nursing fulfilled all his needs! I just need some reassurance/advice/commiseration.
