Just more evidence that dogs rule! (When I was in public health school, one of my profs was totally pro-dog and anti-cat... but the research does seem to be on his side).
This is a study that shows that dogs may make babies healthier!

that's awesome! It does drive me crazy that she loves to go right up next to LO and shake so that her dander and hair flies all around M!

I just heard that. We have a pup and so far my LO has only had one teeny tiny cold at 8 months, she's almost 12 months. I know it also has a lot to do with the fact that she's not in day care, but I like to think our pup plays a part in it too!

Yay, take that SIL! I've got so much grief from her about the dogs- I think she honestly expected us to remove them completely from the house. Her four kids have asthma and she's understandably freaky about respiratory stuff, but there's none of it on my side so I figured once the dog doesn't actually sleep in the cot, we're good.
Just goes to show... A dirty child is a happy child:)
