@lovehoneybee: I this comic, haha. I can't stannnnd the "free speech" nonsense. This is why I can't even read FB comments on news stories... people make my head hurt.

I'm glad he's banned. Although the fine won't make him poor, hopefully the shame of being banned will stay with him for a long time.

I'm surprised (I a good way) that he actually went for the all-out ban. Go Silver!

@Mrs. Lemon-Lime: I think that's a good idea in theory, but with NBA team salary caps, the Clippers players wouldn't necessarily get picked up by another team for the salary they're currently making. I guess the decision to work for less could be left to the Clippers players, but it would definitely be complicated! I also feel like essentially destroying the Clippers franchise would unfairly punish fans who had no part in Sterling's behavior.

@swurlygurl: I had the same reaction. But as I said it out loud... "If he's racist why would he want to OWN black..." Oh.

@Fronkinzankinsbride: Exactly! Who knew that people still thought this way??? Feeling seriously disgusted.

@Fronkinzankinsbride: HAH! It does make a lot more sense when it's phrased like that. So ridiculous though - I can't believe people still think like that? I guess he's pretty old, so maybe once that generation is out, hopefully the younger generations won't have so much hate.

@Fronkinzankinsbride: I seriously laughed out loud at this. I was also wondering why you'd go for basketball teams if you're a racist, but when you say it like that it makes total sense!
