The blood type thread made me think of this.

I've gotten a few calls since M was born asking me to donate blood because they are in need of my blood type (A+). I had a cousin who was a hemophiliac and depended on blood transfusions his whole life so giving blood is something that's really important to me. But I've declined because I don't know if it's a good idea to give while breastfeeding. Anyone know?
