I have a BOB Duallie that’s really easy to push. I’d go for a Thule if we didn’t already have it though. Definitely tight wheels because they’re meant for running.

I definitely wouldn’t do a wagon that you are going to have to push/pull

Look at a bob duallie or thule urban glide double. They are expensive but nothing else will come close to the push. There is a strong resale market; in my area they are for sale alllll the time.

Babyjogger also makes a true running stroller (double) summit XC I think it’s called.

@Ms. RV: I’d also say a big no to the wagon on a hill unless you borrow one and try it first. DH got some reason put DD3 in a wagon to go get DD1 from school recently, and it was as bad going down (no brakes, so kept hitting my ankles) as it was going back up (I find pulling more work with less control than pushing).

The Baby Jogger City Select is a workhorse - they’re $$$ but pretty easy to find used in many areas for much less. Bonus is it converts easily to a single.

At the other end of the price spectrum, I had a Countours Elite that was great. Way longer than a city mini double which would have been my first choice after loving their single years ago, but super easy to steer with good brakes and positionable seats and easy enough to fold.
