Hi bees, I've recently had a terrible experience with Motorola customer service and need to replace my double video monitor ASAP. Any recommendations? Thanks!

We just got a Summer Infant one. Actually it's our second one. The first one still works but they discontinued the model so we couldn't get a 2nd camera. Other than my being pissed off that something is discontinued that's not even 2 years old (a rant for another day), we've been happy.

We have a Levana Stella, which only comes with one camera, but you can buy extra and add up to 4 cameras all on the same video screen

@QBbride: it only comes with 1, but it will take up to 4 camera feeds. You just have to purchase the additional cameras.

@QBbride: We have a Levana Astra and after 14 months are still very happy with it. It also comes with 1 camera but can add more (up to 4).

LO2 is due next month so we bought a Summer Infant Dual View in anticipation. I liked the fact I could see both LOs on the same screen instead of the flipping back and forth (even though the audio will scan between). Our old Motorola crapped out on us a couple months ago so we started using it early in just the toddler's room. So far so good. I miss the room temperature reading more than I thought I would though.

We have a levana and haven't had any problems in the year we've had it. My cousin's daughter dropped it in a bird bath and despite being submerged it still works perfectly.
We got it at Costco. -
Hmm I didn't think of ordering from Costco @oliviaoblivia: I should have done that so when it inevitably craps out on us we can take it back.
Well Motorola has finally taken notice since I posted on their Facebook page. I should have done that two months ago. We will see if it works out (I'm not optimistic).

I would maybe try speaking with someone else at Motorola. They have been SO accommodating and overly generous to us. We purchased a single camera monitor in 2012 that they ended up replacing a couple of times and even upgraded me for the inconvenience to a double camera monitor. When the double camera monitor went out a few months ago, I called them to see if I could get it fixed and they said no, but that they would replace it AGAIN. I was in disbelief. Their CS has been amazing to us!

@PrincessBaby: same here. we are looking at a double video monitor and I only want motorola because they were so accommodating with the few issues we've had (and that we caused).

@PrincessBaby: @ladybee: haha I can almost not even imagine good customer service from them, I've been on the receiving end of horrible customer service for two months now!
I wrote on their Facebook page and have finalllly started to get answers now, so maybe I should have done that a lot earlier. We will see if they have sent me the correct monitor - after 4 or 5 incorrect ones.
