Phil and Teds Promenade. That thing is just so cool looking....I would have bought it, but they don't have it available abroad.

I think I'd still get the same stroller we randomly picked at Target! We honestly don't use it much and I have zero stroller lust.

We bought ours! We wanted a BOB b/c we run so much, but absolutely recognized that it was a ridiculous price for a stroller. We waited for REI's one sale/year on BOBs and bought it for ourselves. The best use of our money ever...we use it as our everyday stroller and to run with LO.

@loveisstrange: Yikes, that price is definitely outside the realm of anything possible! And yet now I'm intrigued by it, LOL!
@blackbird: Baby related or otherwise? Trying to prioritize costs

I would stick with my contours bliss. Love it! A better cup holder and slightly better wheels/suspension would be nice. My mom bought our stroller and money was no object. She was Appauled I didn't get the UBV (my sis has it) but I would choose my stroller over it any day for us.
Why? Lightweight and seat converts to bassinet. The huge basket and seat flipping with one hand are pluses too!

@LindsayInNY: haha nothing in particular, I'm just messing. I bought our UPV off Craigslist and while i *love* it, i wouldn't buy it full price for how often we use it.
pomegranate / 3314 posts
We got an Uppababy Vista and honestly, I think I would go that route again. It will be used with multiple kids, so that makes the cost a little less crazy.

@LindsayInNY: Honestly, we bought a City Mini. I freakin love it. I could never, ever, ever see myself spending hundreds on a high-end stroller ($200 with a 20% coupon at Buy Buy Baby). I plan to get the bassinet attachment if we have another baby. I used it in England, in London a LOT, on the Underground, etc... Plus, their customer service is THE BOMB. They just replaced my entire stroller frame for free.

I like my line up right now, but I'm debating a new double. Going to wait a few months after #2 shows up to see how my needs change.
We currently have...
Mountain buggy urban double (shared with friend for easy transport of two toddlers)
UBV
UB G-luxe
Bugaboo chameleon (stays at grandma's)
Bob dualie (also at grandma's)
That looks excessive.

Stokke Xplory or Bugaboo Buffalo... if only I had an extra $1,000 just lying around...
honeydew / 7589 posts
Dang I'm not sure if I would get a stroller, even if it were free. I love the look of the Stokke Xplory, but we NEVER use our stroller. Like ever. So it would be such a waste! I'd use the money for a few awesome carriers instead.

I guess I don't really have stroller envy, I would probably get a BOB but honestly don't' really need it for as often as we use the stroller.
bananas / 9229 posts
@Arden: I know what strolled I'd ideally like (without doing much research so that could change lol) BUT I do know that I want to baby wear as well. We public transit quite a bit but also have a car and don't know which would be used more with a LO.
honeydew / 7589 posts
@LindsayInNY: I think I might use a stroller more if I lived in a city that was stroller friendly, but I hate loading and unloading a stroller from the car, and stairs for a subway? Bleh.
I'd probably get a city mini, just because it's lightweight and easy to fold.

I love my MB Urban Jungle but if I was doing it over I'd love the MB Cosmopolitan!

I always thought my dream stroller was uppa baby vista. I went, tried them all out, and yep still love it. But, then I saw the uppa baby cruz! It's so much more compact and light, and we metro a lot in the city. A new 2015 version is coming out, so we saw it was on sale for 40% off, and they threw in the bumper bar for free! Yep, bought our stroller in the first trimester. We're crazy like that LOL.

My son hates his stroller. Only one that is worth it to us is the BOB.

I have my perfect double pram (City Mini GT) but am lusting after the Maclaren Techno XT for a single umbrella stroller. At £255 brand new though, I just can't make myself do it - it's a freaking umbrella stroller!
pomegranate / 3192 posts
I have an UppaBaby Vista and love it! But with LO2 on the way I don't think its the best double stroller..so I think I'd buy the Buggaboo Donkey! (If money were no object of course. Instead we'll buy a rumble seat for the Vista!)
@loveisstrange: @LindsayInNY: my friend just bought a Buggaboo Buffalo! The baby store lady convinced them to buy it because then they wouldn't have to buy a regular stroller plus a jogging stroller. But I don't know, I know it's all terrain, but it doesn't really strike me as a jogging stroller!!

I really love my UB vista. I walk almost very where and have taken it in the T no problem- but during off peak hours, and I check ahead of time that my stop has an elevator. I almost never fold it or put it in the car though. The Cruz is really nice too but I appreciate the bigger tires during our winters.
I do have a second travel stroller for when it has to go in the car (mountain buggy nano, also awesome). My stroller was my big splurge since we walk everywhere and rarely drive.

I lust after the Bugaboo Donkey. But it's totally unjustifiable for our lifestyle.
pineapple / 12526 posts
@QBbride: Yeahhhhhh, your friend got conned. That is not remotely a jogging stroller. lol
cantaloupe / 6885 posts
I love my UBV. In my dream (unlimited $$) world I would buy the new version but I'm happy with mine. We have a used BOB which has been awesome for off roading.
I'd love to also have a City Mini GT double and a uppababy g-luxe, but those are just wishes !
cantaloupe / 6017 posts
we love our bob, but we don't live in the city. If I was in the city I"d want something more light weight and compact. We mostly use ours for exercise, and wear her in stores or use the grocery cart. Did the same when she was tiny.
pomegranate / 3411 posts
I lusted after the UBV for over a year and finally got it and love it. I also have the b agile which I like and serves some purpose (like good to store in the car) but it wasn't meeting all my needs.
pomegranate / 3411 posts
I think if I had money to spare i would get a jogging stroller like the Bob. I just have no space now and would only use it in spring/summer so it's not worth it
pear / 1599 posts
I got it when I got the B-Ready, LOVE it, hope I still love it as a double. If DH would get his dream stroller it would be the Origami.
GOLD / watermelon / 14076 posts
Hmmm if money were no object probably a Bugaboo. Not sure which one.
@dc yoga bee: I went in with the intentions of test-driving the Vista and left in love with the Cruz, too! 15 months and we still love it

Love bugaboo...
Tonight is the last night to get 20% off on everything including bugaboo on giggle.com with code friends14.
pomelo / 5628 posts
I also love my city mini. We use it every day. It's pretty light and easy to get in and out of the car. I also got a barely used BOB Marathon off craigslist. But I accidentally took the city mini jogging and it's still great on flat surfaces.
I also really want a Maclaren umbrella stroller but we just have a cheapie.
cantaloupe / 6630 posts
I love our UBV but if we had the cash we would probably get the Bugaboo Donkey. Instead, I think we may sell the vista and get the City Select with both seats.
pomegranate / 3643 posts
We have a Britax B-agile. I really like it a lot. But I definitely wish it had better tires so I could take it on trails. So maybe a Bob. Or one of those that lay flat like a bassinet. But I really don't know anything about high end strollers.
apricot / 324 posts
Lusted after the UB vista before I was even pregnant. I got it and love it. But now I'm kind of obsessed with the new model. We aren't having another baby for a couple years so I might consider upgrading it by then. I think the mountain buggy nano is pretty awesome. I also like the bumbleride indie.
cantaloupe / 6059 posts
My dream stroller for the longest time was the Mountain Buggy Duet and my DH bought it for me in September. My single stroller is a Baby Jogger City Elite.
However, I'd also take a Bugaboo Donkey and a single BOB Revolution for our stroller line up.
