My DS is in discovery mode. Thankfully he hasn't discovered cabinets yet. We have to get the cabinets and drawers childproofed soon.
Any recos on non drill type of cabinet childproofing? We intend on selling the house soon.

I'm probably the worst person to give recommendations because we used elastic bands around our cabinet handles.

@Freckles: lol I used two carabiners to secure our cabinets!

We had reusable zip ties that looped through the cabinet handles. No drilled holes anywhere in our house! Our gates are tension loaded

we lived in an apartment when LO first became mobile. I took anything dangerous (cleaners and blades) and moved them into top shelves. i didn't use any cabinet locking mechanism, but i should qualify that to say we lived in a relatively small apartment where we could be on top of LO all the time.
although i never childproofed the liquor cabinet or moved the liquor, and for some reason he never showed interest. he did like taking things out of the other cabinets though. it was just a lot of cleaning up afterwards, nothing dangerous.

We have tension mounted gate and kiscords holding our cabinets together- they only work on side by side knobs, not single cabinets or handles. Our drawers are really heavy so she can't open them yet. So far she isn't really that into the cabinets anyway- fingers crossed that continues!

We have a few of these on our nicer furniture with knobs and in our kitchen:
They'll make you want to pull your hair out, but so far they work! I also switched stuff around - I put everything from the upper cabinets that wasn't breakable or dangerous under the sink and put the cleaning products up higher. That way I don't care if he opens any lower cabinets.
