If you got your period back while breastfeeding, did you notice a drop in your supply when pumping? How long did it last? Right before you period came? During?
My output has been just enough this week. I've not noticed a change in the previous months, but that just may have been coincidence. I just am wondering if it is AF's fault or if my supply is starting to dwindle.

Yes, every time. Mostly the first 2 days. It comes back afterwards.

yep every time, mostly the first couple of days. i started taking calc+mag along with MMP and fenugreek!

I have actually never noticed a difference! I got my first AF back at 6 months and have had it at least two more times since.

While I was sick, I spotted like crazy and my output was definitely lower. I've recovered this week and am pumping as much as I was (which is now not enough, but that's a whole different ballpark).

No personal experience since I haven't had mine yet. AF doesn't have an effect on everyone but for some, it could cause a decrease in supply from O-day to about a couple of days into the period. I think it should rebound after, and to try to counteract the hormones, I read on Kellymom that a calcium/magnesium supplement during the supply dip might help.
