C's skin is so dry these days. Her legs are rough and bumpy in several spots, as well as her shoulders and a spot on her lower back where I think the diaper rubs, not to mention her face is dry and she's got a rough patch of drool rash. She's a mess.

Any recommendations? This was starting before her 4 month appt and the ped recommended putting Aquaphor on the rough spots 2x a day. I definitely don't remember twice a day but probably at least once a day and it doesn't seem to help much, plus I don't like how greasy she feels. We have Johnson's and Mustela lotions but neither are heavy enough.

I only give her a bath once or twice a week, and they are always shorter than 10 minutes. Would adding some kind of oil to the water help? Humidifier? Heavy cream lotion?

It doesn't seem to bother her, but it just seems like it can't be comfortable. The heat will be on for several more months here in New England, so it's not going to get better any time soon on its own.

Oh and anything beside Aquaphor for the drool rash? I wipe the drool as often as a can, but she's 6 months, probably teething, and you know how that goes!
