I'm hoping to get a new camera in the next couple of months so that I don't have to rely on my phone camera so much.
I definitely do not want a DSLR because I know I'll never put the effort in to learn all of the settings, and they are far too pricey to just keep on auto all of the time. I'm looking for something that takes high quality pictures without having to mess around too much. Basically, an upgraded point and shoot of some sort.
I'm also hoping to keep my budget under $400 (Canadian).
I've done some research but I know very little about photography, and it all sounded like gibberish to me. I was reading a lot about compact digital cameras and interchangable lens cameras- I feel so lost! I'm hoping someone on here can point me in the right direction.
Is something like this still too complicated?
