I just saw this new fertility assistance device on the news this morning. http://www.duofertility.com/ Basically (and I could be wrong, I was pretty lazy about reading this thoroughly) - you attach this device by a sticky pad under your armpit that wirelessly transmits your temperature throughout the day, and it gets recorded in a chart for you. It comes with a handheld device that tells you the chances of conception day by day, along with some other things. The kicker, is that this device is almost $1000!!!!! What do you guys think about this? Would you ever shell out this much for what I think is essentially an automated charter device? Am I missing something? Does this do anything else???

I've never heard of that before! It sounds pretty cool, buy I would never shell out that much. My cycles are super regular though, so maybe thats why I don't see the value in it.

As a web designer I gotta say... for such an expensive product they sure have a crummy website lol.
Anyway that aside, I wouldn't spent $1000 on that, even though it is interesting how it checks your temperature constantly. I do OK at pin pointing O with charting my BBT and OPKs. I don't think poor timing is the reason it's taking me a while to conceive anyhow.

I saw this on GMA and they said if you don't get pregnant within a year of purchasing they'll refund your money.
Personally, I think it's like a heart rate monitor for your lady parts. I have one for running and used it three or four times and then thought it was stupid.
That's just me though.

To me it doesn't sound worth it, because as great as temping/charting etc are, if you DTD every other day you pretty much have the same chances. Being able to pinpoint O date is helpful but not vital. So I would NEVER pay $$ for it- I wouldn't even pay for the paid version of FF!
