I've posted about it before, but my LO will be 1 in two weeks and still isn't crawling or even pulling himself up. He really doesn't even make an effort to do so. Just doesn't seem interested. I guess you could say he's "mobile," but he rolls everywhere, or sorta scoots himself on his butt by turning in circles.

I know all kids develop at their own rate, but I'm starting to feel like it's really odd/worrisome that he's not even interested in pulling himself up at this age. I'm seeing friends with kids who are 6 months younger than him posting photos on Facebook of their LOs already pulling themselves up. He's definitely got other priorities besides gross motor - his fine motor skills are pretty amazing (can feed himself with a spoon, figured out the shape sorter, etc.). But it's hard not to worry when he's missing such a huge milestone.

His pediatrician said "we'll talk about it at his 12 month visit," which is in 3 weeks, but I'm wondering if I should be proactive and schedule an early intervention evaluation now. I've heard it can take weeks to get an appointment.

Anyone else have any experience with early intervention/physical therapy for a late physical developer? Any advice?
